چکیده

The first observational evidence for cosmic acceleration appeared from Type Ia supernovae (SNe Ia) Hubble diagram two different groups. However, the empirical treatment of SNe and their ability to show have been subject some debate in literature. In this work we probe assumption redshift-independent absolute magnitude $(M_{\mathrm{B}})$ along with its correlation spatial curvature ($\Omega_{k0}$) distance duality relation (CDDR) parameter ($\eta(z)$). This is divided into parts. Firstly, check validity CDDR which relates luminosity ($d_L$) angular diameter ($d_A$) via redshift. We use Pantheon dataset combined $H(z)$ measurements derived chronometers. Further, four redshift-dependent parametrizations $(\eta(z))$ are used. fairly consistent almost every parametrization within a $2\sigma$ confidence level both flat non-flat universe. second part, assume emphasize on variability $M_{\mathrm{B}}$ $\Omega_{k0}$. choose $M_{\mathrm{B}}$. results indicate no evolution level. For all parametrizations, best fit value $\Omega_{k0}$ indicates universe at However mild inclination towards non also observed. examined dependence choice priors $H_0$.

Luminosity Indicators in the Uv Spectra of Type Ia Supernovae

We present a complete sample of International Ultraviolet Explorer and Hubble Space Telescope ultraviolet (UV) spectra of Type Ia supernovae (SNe Ia) through 2004. We measure the equivalent width (EW) and blueshifted velocity of the minimum of the one strong UV feature, Fe II λ3250. We also quantify the slope of the near-UV spectra using a new parameter, the “UV ratio.” We find that the velocit...

A two-parameter luminosity correction for Type Ia supernovae

If, in addition to the usual luminosity correction described by the light curve slope parameter b, we introduce a color correction parameter R, then an extraordinarily good fit is realized for all the 29 distant Type Ia supernovae of the recent Calán/Tololo supernova survey. The reduced χ2 found is much lower than can be expected. All of the intrinsic dispersion is thereby removed from the data...

Type Ia Supernovae

Type Ia Supernovae are in many aspects still enigmatic objects. Their observational and theoretical exploration is in full swing, but we still have plenty to learn about these explosions. Recent years have already witnessed a bonanza of supernova observations. The increased samples from dedicated searches have allowed the statistical investigation of Type Ia Supernovae as a class. The observati...
